Successful Western State Blood Drive

Western State Law Review held its annual blood drive on October 17, 2017, and it was a huge success!  This year’s blood drive collected 30 units of blood; a new school record that well surpassed our goal of 19 units.  The selfless generosity of our students, faculty, and staff contributed to saving up to 90 lives of those desperately in need – cancer patients, trauma victims, organ transplant recipients, premature babies, sickle cell disease patients and many others.  Every day, patients throughout the Irvine area and across the country rely on volunteer blood donors when receiving healthcare.

We would like to send out a huge thank you to all 34 donors who took time out of their day to give blood!  In addition, thank you to the American Red Cross and the Western State Law Review members who helped organize and volunteer at this event:
